Am I any good?
I can’t promise you’ll pass your test, but I can promise you’ll be well-prepared and have a much higher chance than average. While Livingston Test Centre has a pass rate of around 49%, my students typically pass at a rate closer to 80%.

I’m a Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency approved driving instructor
I’ve been teaching people to drive for several years now, and I genuinely enjoy it. It’s a real privilege to meet so many interesting people and support them in gaining such an important life skill.
Before becoming a driving instructor, I worked across various fields, including retail management, B2B sales, and financial services. These roles helped me develop strong coaching and communication skills, which now form the core of my teaching approach.
I understand the challenges that come with learning to drive, and I use a variety of strategies to tailor each lesson to the individual. Every pupil is different, so I adapt my approach to suit your needs, learning style, and confidence level.
I always treat my pupils with complete respect. I’m punctual, the car will be clean and well-presented, and you’ll have my full attention and support for the entire lesson.
Don’t just take my word for it. Here’s what customers think.

Are you teaching someone to drive or learning privately?
01.
Private learning can be tough going
Privately taught learners will have an approximately 35-40% chance of passing their test at Livingston. Significantly worse at Currie. I can massively improve your chances of success with assessment drives and mock tests.
With current waiting times as they are, do you want to wait another 5 months for a test?

High quality resources
There’s plenty of information on the internet about learning to drive. Some of it is very good and some of it is low value clickbait. I’ve provided overviews and links to some quality resources to get more out of your online learning.

Livingston driving test routes
Want to get more out of your driving practice than just a simple drive? I’ve gathered a selection of Livingston driving test routes, commonly used test car parks, and plenty of pull-up and pull-away spots to help you practice with purpose and confidence.
