Drive Calderwood is the online home of Duncan Slack, an independent driving instructor.

I use an app callled Totaldrive. Their web address is https://totaldrive.co.uk.

Totaldrive (see 2.0) is where I keep details that I need on an ongoing basis to provide lessons. For example, address, contact information, lesson appointments and learning progress. The pupil can delete this at any time of their choosing. If they do not delete it, then it will be deleted within 1 month from when it is determined that the working relationship between the pupil and I is at an end.  For example, a pupil passes their driving test. I will keep information if a pupil has indicated they are pausing their relationship with me. This will be possible for a maximum of 6 months. If the pupil has not been back in contact, then information will be deleted. I reserve the right to delete this information at any time within the 6 months, if I consider it appropriate. 

Written lesson notes – these will be destroyed within 1 month of a test pass. They will also be destroyed if a pupil takes a break and does not return within 6 months.

If you would like any data deleted ahead of any timescales above, then please email using the email address below. I will confirm via email that this has been done.
